Supporting Communities in a War Zone through Skateboarding

SkatePal is a non-profit organisation supporting communities throughout Palestine, promoting the social, health and wellbeing benefits of skateboarding to enhance the lives of local youth.

With no more than 2 Skateboards, I got to join some of the first skateboard classes in Ramallah. We started teaching children of all age how to ride a Skateboard, giving them a tool to stay positive in difficult circumstances. Nowadays SkatePal is well established, providing several different skateparks and boards for a lot of children growing up in a war-zone.
